Re: WE win the UK Masters
I think it's the second one. Then again, I can't remember the rules for ANYBODY, so that doesn't help much.

Re: WE win the UK Masters
I can't believe it has been just one year since I broke my tourney cherry at the Ard Boyz. I still screw the rules up.
I'm still a sophmore at this game and I like trying the different armies. I'm more selective now than at first since I know more about what I'm doing.
So far in minimal use I like the Lizzies- I get to play all phases and I get some rare (for me) static CR!
I have not had a chance to try my new WE yet. I'm very eager! I painted a few heros, but I've still got quite a bit of assembly work before I'll be ready for a game. Might be a late night in the workshop this weekend. I at least need enough built to use for WoTR on Tuesday.

Re: WE win the UK Masters
I know you're new at this Bill...Luis, however, isn't! But, I think you'll find the Wood Elves very tempermental...so fragile...moderately expensive...and with all the super-uber-broken-lists out now...you'll be hard-pressed to put a consistently competitive list on the table. They're a complete change from the armies you've played to this point, though, as they are quick and fragile...very fragile.

Yeah - I'm looking forward to that challenge.
No point and click with these guys. Jab and move, jab and move.

Re: WE win the UK Masters
Thats one of the reasons I've always liked Calvary armies in fantasy. Much more of a challenge.

Wood elves are always competitive Sam , because people are usually not prepared to deal with them.
