Mike Harmon should have some idea.

From what I remember, GW uses "heroic scale". Which is somewhere between 1/32nd and 1/72nd.

Roughly 1/32 but we have been pre-measuring and then printing a test copy out with photo shop. The Bell of lost souls though made a custom decal set so might be something to look at if you want to go my route and try making your own.

I defiantly like the Aliens decal idea. Might have to abuse that just a little after you've done it myself. I love that drop ship and personnel carrier.

I once read in an old white dwarf ( I think the one that had 2 custom limousines for the genestealer cult) that the scale that was used for the 2 vehicles was 1/43 or 1/42.

Years later I asked about these scales at Warricks hobby shop and was told that yes, 1/43 exists, it is more widely used in european scale modeling. The employee told me that it isn't very popular here in the states.

Toys R Us sells a line of cars in different scales that are called "Fast Lane".
I use their 1/43 scale to play Cyberpunk or as scenery.
