I saw we were talking about Wizards of the Coast in another thread, so I wanted to share my favorite article on the subject.

I don't know about magic anymore but it's still insanely popular. Also D&D is better than ever and really enjoying the new version of the Star Wars RPG.

They seem to be doing fairly well right now, Dreamblade was their recent screw up though.

If you like that article, if possible read the book "Hackers". It's not what you think, it really about the computer gaming industry of the 80's.
Also the "Rise and Fall of Atari", that one is harder to get hold of.
