One of my favorite subjects!

Frantic you had recommended a matt size of 2x3 for the city area correct.

I want to purchase the city and destroyed city matts and I want to get the right size.

BTW, you guys play with the wrong size trees and I going to get the right scale this week.

Okay, two 2x3 matts on there way. Both are for cities, one for a normal city and the other for a destroyed city.

Today I am going to order city models from Mr. Sunshine and an extra GW battle matt (grass 6x4). Also I am purchasing platforms for a BattleMech base, power plant parts and chemical plant parts.

This weekend I am going to pickup the proper size trees.

Yes Hive, Mr. Sunshine has the items, I believe you are trying to say.

I purchase the Chem plant, Power plant, and four boxes of platforms, which are re-configurable. (the platforms). I also purchase several buildings from Jr.Minitures for an factory setting and a ruin city setting and some bunkers.

good to hear from you Mr. Hive

And everything is arriving faster than I thought it would. The matts will be here in about two weeks. Also the JR minis should be here in two weeks. A lot of cool stuff is on its way.

The minitures from MidKnights and Exodus have arrived.

The BattleTech hangar was a nightmare to construct, but I have completed it. I will continue to paint the buildings.

I order the Jr Minitures on Sunday and they should be here in about two weeks per Mr. Sunshine. A lot of cool stuff.

The matts have arrived from TerrainGuy. I continued to be underwhelmed by his products. He does a good job flocking and prensently the only reasonable source for this type of gaming board/matt. You would have to go outside of the US.
But the paint job is very weak. I will have to basically paint them myself. Part of the reason on making this kind of purchase is that it is "ready made", all you have to do is take it out of the box and play.

I am in the middle of a painting job which will cause me to delay painting anything else (BattleTech, WotR, AT-43, terrain). So it will be awhile before you see the matt.

No word yet on the 6mm BattleTech buildings I order from Jr. Minitures.

My "special order" that was promised in two weeks is turning into more like two months (I will not make another "specail order" again).

If the shipment does not show up this week I am canceling it. So this is going cause further delays. I will order directly from Jr. Minitures

Mysteriously my order from Jr. Minatures showed up yesterday. I had placed my order on the 20 August and was promised a two week arrival. Mr. Sunshine gave a very confusing explanation for the delay and arrival of this order. Once again he does not know what the fuck is going on. If he had stay on top of this, the outcome would have been different, but then he would have to get off his lazy ass and put down the comic or newspaper.

But hey that's okay I not ordering any more Jr Minature stock from Mr. Sunshine.

The buildings look excellent, just need to time to paint them.

Actually, I was thinking of using them. Placing them on the edge of the board to add to the enviroment.

But that would use up space, and with 4x4 that really is inpractical.
