Hurricon Sept. 24 th to 27th

I was just checking to see who might be attending this event. I am planning on going. I will be taking my family with me. The hotel is on the beach and they have a nice pool. Anyone else going and if they are, are they taking their family? The will be having a FoW, 40k, Fantasy, Warmachine tournament as well as tons of other games including RPG and board games. I went last year with Dan and it was a blast.

I missed GenCon, so I would really like to go if Hurricon is simular.
I am looking for terrain for LotR, BattleTech and now AT-43.

Also I notice they have a BattleTech tournament!

It's a smaller con but it's made of hardcore gaming, lot of other game systems are played besides the overplayed GW and Privateer Press stuff. Lot of historicals as well.

The flea market they do is awesome way to get amazing deals and you can sell your own stuff as well that you had laying around.

It's definately alot of fun. I picked up a new miniatures game last year called All the kings men. 54mm! Anyways, I'm working on them now and I'm gonna do some demo's up there. The owner will be there with all his stuff to sell and demo. And the flea market is sweet!

if the Ard'Boys wasnt on the 26th i would consider going.
WOuld love to play some historicals, i got the book for Warhammer Ancients.

I was actually thinking about going. Not sure yet. Waiting to see if I can afford it

I will be attending at least Saturday of this event. I have a football game Friday night so anyone who wants to drive up really early on Saturday morning let me know.
