Firestorm Campaign Monday 09/21/09

I want to get the campaign going again tonight. 6:30 at my house. Who is coming?

OK, I'm not involved, but how is Firestorm working out?

I think it is going pretty good. We got about 7 games in so far with the Allies having a slight edge in wins. The only draw back is playing once a week. Campaign might take to long. The problem is not having the game board at the store where other players could be involved. But this is a trial run and it has been alot of fun so far.

Glad it seems to be working. Give it a month or so and I'll have the correct force to play when the next campaign is started.

Mind you, Firestorm: Market Garden may be out by then...

Combine the two together to allow both sides to play!

If you want to truly go that way, there are links to a Firestorm: Normandy that someone came up with in the Battlefront Forums. That gets you into the correct time period to run alongside Bagration.

By the time of Market Garden, the Eastern Front fights had bogged down along the Vistula.

By the way, current release date for Firestorm:Market Garden is after Christmas...

Is that a mid war or late war campaign? It sounds great what you all have been doing I wish I lived a litle closer south but from pembroke pines to south Miami it just takes to long. I have the rest of my germaine army foot bat. on order still painting away to get them ready. I would like to start turniments by next year and enjoying it as much as warhammer.

Firestorm is currently Late War. It's based around Operation Bagration, the Summer 1944 offensive in Belarus that just about destroyed Army Group Center.

There is a rumour that there will be a Desert based Midwar Firestorm campaign.

Did you go Mid war?

Most Germans can go either mid or late war, only the armor can get tricky.

You can still use them. Sure, they won't be EXACTLY correct, but thats alright for the most part.

Let me look into that..... maybe I can use them as MW Italian Campaign forces...
