The Future of table top games?
Here is a proof of concept of a digital version of table top gaming. Go to this website for more information. This primarily concerns D&D but, they mention Warhammer as a possible candidate for other systems. There several videos demonstrating this system.

It is very interesting to say the least.

Re: The Future of table top games?
I hope the future of table top gaming does not go in that direction though.
What would the BSOD look like on a system crash?

Re: The Future of table top games?
It's a cool system no doubt, but expensive and it takes a ton of work to set up an adventure.
I don't think it would go towards table top games but more towards just video games. They were already using the technology to show off RTS games being played on such a screen. Tabletop games being too niche market for any of the companies to invest in such a thing but it would likely be seen as a video game no matter how it turns out.
If they could officially release the software for something like this (this example was just a test and not a licensed D&D product) it would be something those with deep pockets would want.... I want

I saw something similar to this on Youtube like 2 years ago. They were demo -ing a 40k trial on a board with control wands.
Anyone remember that ?
