Players must also bring at least two printed or legibly handwritten copies of all their army lists including point costs and an army/horde point total.
They must register one copy of these lists with the TO prior to the start of the tournament. The player's opponent may view the other copies upon request.

Army Lists

Army point totals cannot exceed the point size for the round and cannot fall more than 2 points under the point size.

Round 1 of WARMACHINE Resurgence uses 25-point games.
A player cannot use epic models or non-warcaster character models in his 25-point list with the following exceptions:
• Character models from WARMACHINE: Prime Mk II are permitted, as this is a Prime
Mk II release event (Eiryss, Reinholdt, Greygore Boomhowler, etc)
• A player fielding a Talion Charter army can include up to three non-warcaster
character models in his Talion lists because of the character-driven focus of that
mercenary contract.

Round 2 of WARMACHINE Resurgence uses 35-point games.
A player’s 35-point army list must use the same models as his 25-point list plus additional models.
These additional models can include character warjacks but no non-warcaster character warrior models except for those used in Round 1.
Players can use the epic version of their warcaster (if applicable) instead of their first-round warcaster if desired.
Players can also upgrade the following warjacks by spending the difference in points between the two models:
• Lancer ➞ Thorn
• Ironclad ➞ Ol’ Rowdy
• Revenger ➞ Blessing of Vengeance
• Crusader ➞ Fire of Salvation
• Berserker ➞ Drago
• Juggernaut ➞ Beast 09
• Slayer ➞ Nightmare
• Seether ➞ Deathjack

Round 3 (and all subsequent rounds) of WARMACHINE Resurgence use 50-point games.
A player’s 50-point army list must use the same models as his 35-point list plus additional models.
These additional models can include any legal model for the army.
Players must use the warcaster in their second-round list or that model’s epic version.
As in Round 2, players can upgrade warjacks to character warjacks by spending the difference in points between the two models as noted above.

The number of players participating in the tournament determines the maximum number of matches played.

The event will run until there is a clear winner, which usually means when there is only 1 undefeated player at the beginning of a round. Once a clear winner emerges, the event ends without additional matches. 8 players or less - 3 matches, 9 -16 players - 4 matches.

Resurgence uses timed turns to ensure a fair play environment. Players have 8min (25pts), 10 min (35pts), or 12min (50pts) to play each turn. When the time for a turn expires, the player whose turn it is finishes the activation of whatever model he is activating, and then ends his turn.

When a player moves a model or makes an attack during the other player’s turn, the player whose turn it is has the option of stopping the clock while the move or attack resolves.

After the time limit for the match has expired, the TO calls “dice down”. When dice down is called the active player finishes any action already in motion (for example a dice roll or moving a unit), and then the game ends. If a game goes to dice down, check the scenario for how to determine the winner.

Once per game, each player may extend his turn length. A player can extend his turn length by declaring he is doing so within 30 seconds after the time allotted for his turn runs out. At this time, the active player’s opponent resets the clock for five minutes, and the active player continues his turn. Remember that this extension is only for a player’s turn length and cannot extend a turn past the match length.

We will provide timers. Round length is 65min + variable for 25pt game, 35pt game is 80 min + variable, and 50pt game is 100min + variable. Variable is d6 x2 rolled before each round and kept secret.

I'm looking forward to seeing everybody again along with some new faces and remember...play like you've got a pair!!!
