How will the world end?

Saw this on another forum and decided to post it here. My vote is for Nuclear Holocaust.

I like that I could pick multiple...so I picked 4 of them! We're doomed, so have fun while you're here!!!

Disease? Sure all these drug resistant diseases may cut a piece of the human population, but we can survive.

Global warming? Overhyped Doom-and-Gloom fronted by a sore loser who bends the truth heavily in his favor. Worst case scenario, the ice caps melt and the sea level rises by 3 feet. a few animals go extinct here and there, but we can easily survive.

Comet/Asteroid? A Dinosaur killer asteroid has an incredibly low chance of hitting the earth. Afterall, these type of Asteroids only come every 200 million years or so. plus, in the next hundred years, we will have enough technology to either destroy or alter the course of these asteroids. even altering the course by a quarter of a fraction can cause them to miss earth by a long shot.

Sun going supernova? The Sun does not have enough mass to become a Supernova. a Red Giant definitly, but that wont happen for another 5 Billion years.

Nuclear Holocaust/Stupidity? People are dumb, NOT Stupid

Alien Invasion? Possible. if Aliens with FTL (hell, even STL) arrived to earth, they could just redirect a comet to earth, and watch as everything bigger than a hamster dies off within the decade.

Christianity End-of-the-world? Well, the parameters for it as set in the Bible is almost impossible to occur. Well you need world peace, christianity at its weakest ever, a universal currency, and nobody expecting the end of the world. Which is pretty hard to replicate. not to mention that Jesus claimed the apocalypse will occur before all of his 12 disciples died. so unless theres 2,000 year old people walking around, this will be hard to accomplish.

I think it's more likely that the future will look like the movie Bladerunner.

You know the slow degradation of the planet as the environment slowly worsens and the planet becomes one big city. People will speak a mix of Chinese,English, and Spanish, and it'll be dark and rainy all the time. People with wealth will live in the high rises above the clouds and never need to descend to the surface and mix with the 28 billion undesirables living there.

Wait a second.. that sounds like a hive world doesn't it ? Looks like GW ripped another idea from popular fiction and used it for it's own purposes !!

Wouldnt Global warming fall under our own stupidity? Thats what I picked. I was gonna go with the Biblical shit just for the hell of it, but I decided to make a realistic reasonable scientific choice.

i think we are just gonna nuke the shit out of each other, and when the first rocket goes off, i'll be sure to be in a strip club to grab as many titties as i can before i go up in smoke.

Strippers won't be concerned with the apocalypse? I mean, I know they need money and all, but....

The end of the world is coming but the chinese retaurants and the strip clubs are still open.

It's there so that if you have any idea besides those you can vote " Other" and state what that "other" is.
