New Plastic Trolls & Boar Boys!

Great looking stuff, the trolls especially are a huge upgrade to the old stuff, really cool looking. And now I want to throw away my old Boar boys, they seriously were pretty ugly. The price on the Boar Boys is surprisingly cheap as well.

I wont spend a cent in them untill the pos army book gets redone

There are rumors they will redo O&G shortly after or along with the 8th Edition launch.

I don't know about these models though. They look a bit cartoonish for my taste. The orcs look great, but the boars look silly to me.

And the trolls don't look scary at all, they look they got plucked out of a manga or something.

yeah, the trolls do look manga-esque, but I really like them. I actually didn't like the orcs... they're pretty plain. The boars are ok tho.

The Orcs do look a little plain; but, at least they're not the exact same sculpt as Orcs on foot or the old metal models. The boars are great but until I checked out the zoomed picture I felt they were 'rambunctiously cartoon-like'.

The Trolls are great, and one of them is depicted throwing up - that won me over.

The trolls are identical to the depiction of the river trolls in army book. Prefer them to the goofy looking old stone troll models. I would use the new trolls as all variants of trolls over the old goofy ones.
