Vehicles assaulting.

In order to be able to assault a vehicle has to have a top armor of at least 1...correct?

Has to have a top armor of at least 0 as it counts as armored then. It the top is -, then it's not armored and can't assault. If it's a transport team, then it can't assault.

Top armour of 0 means it can be pinned by defensive fire

Where do you get that from? A vehicle with top armor of 0, 1, or 2 is considered armored and armored vehicles are not affected by pinned status. Only non armored vehicles can be pinned, which are vehicles with top armor of -

Vehicles are in 3 classes. Fully armoured vehicles have a top armour of 1 or 2. Open topped armoured vehicles have a top armour of 0. Unarmoured vehicles have a armour of -.

The rules for pinning down the assault on page 101 of the hardback says ' a platoon containing only fully armoured tank teams carries on, but all other platoons fall back.'

The important thing is the use of the words fully armoured.

Makes sense, but where in the rules does it state the definition of "fully armored vehicles". I can't seem to find anything on that anywhere and just mention of the basic definition of armored vehicles.

Limey is correct, the tank team has to be fully armored to not be able to be pinned. An example of a tank team that is not fully armored are the universal carriers and halftracks.

Yes I know it says fully armored, but where does it state in the rules what fully armored actually means is my question.
