I have a problem:(

In mmo's I had a big problem. I was an altoholic. Played a few games for several years yet never capped my levels. I always logged in to make more toons. Now in the past year playing 40k, I am doing it again. This time I am constantly starting new armies. So far in one year I have had Tau, Necrons, Orks, Tau again, Space Marines, Nids and now Blood Angels. So to just focus again I am thinking of selling all my Space Marines stuff. One idea would be to come into Joels and sell the stuff their to you guys. Then just turn around and spend it there. Do you think Joel would be opposed to the idea? I miss my Crons a whole lot and my Orks are pretty much done (as far as buying more models).

maybe joel should set up a program where he buys from us at the % he would buy from GW? and resell the armies or put the items up on consignment?

craigslist.org and backpage.com you can put all your items up for sale on these sites. but I will tell you no SM shit is moving right now. the market is glutted with intro players finding that SM's of any flavor are just not competitive enough vs imps nids tau chaos um pretty much anyone. though space wolves are still in demand due to rarity.

Actually, let me contribute for realz.

Joel has, in the past, allowed for in-store sales. The way it worked was, the person in question told Joel in advance about the deal, then we both met at the store, I gave Joel the money, and Joel gave the person store credit.

Don't know if you get the store discount (guessing no) but honestly. I think you're better off making the deal online or by phone then meeting outside the store to make the trade.

Do the deal in the parking lot. Problem solved. Its nobody's business as to what you are selling. Make a deal on the forum or in person and then simply make the transaction in the parking lot.

Rok is right that's the best method. Joel is not doing well currently and I believe he would not go for it.

Vycem is right about Joel's transaction method. The seller gives the money to Joel and then the buyer has that amount for store credit. NO DISCOUNTS! I have done in the past, but I believe now is not a good time to approach Joel with this offer.

He really does NOT like as he believes it takes away from his 40K/Fantasy sales.

Do it in the parking lot or go to Mc ScumBurgers.

Thats what the free trade section is for. As Joel has said to me in reference to visiting the forum"I have better things to do". I suppose wasting away at his store is more entertaining then our beloved forum. My point...dont worry about him.

Already sold most of it. Just dreadnoughts and combimelta sargents left. Oh, and the real nicely painted assault marines I bought on eBay.
