I'm gonna be the dumb one cause I haven't been following along at all. Is the Budapest book gonna be Mid or Late War?

Dan I thought you knew your history. I posted an article on the siege. Budapest was over run by the Soviets in February 1945. The SS, Heer and Hungarians defended the city. Actually the SS and Heer launched an offensive to relieve the city. The Ardennes offensive wasnt the last major offensive launched by Germany.

I know some of my history, but my Eastern European WWII is lacking, as is my overall Pacific WWII.

I also had no real clue the book was coming out. I've been a bit out of touch with the FOW releases lately.

I think we all have... Shoot, That little 3 game tournament we played was the first games I've played since that summertime tournament at Sunshine in June or July. I think we need to light a fire and get FoW going.

It's already lit! FOW was played 4 days last week. It was awesome. We would like more firewood though....

Yeah I was tempted to take up the offer, but I had crap to do tonight. Maybe later in the week... I switched to morning shift so I'm off by 4 pm.

Why doesn't someone try to keep track of all the fow battles like a league of sorts. I guess it would be strictly for fun but it would be nice to keep records of lists and missions and results. Or maybe thats too much work...

Well Joel has a cool FOW board for some sort of league or tournament play. He just doesn't know how to use it. How would we keep track of games played with results? More importantly, what's the purpose behind it?

I think there are some old articles on the FoW website that tells you how to run that league. I also have the Bagradation Campaing box set that we could try. It is pretty cool.
