Sanguinor WIP

Attempt to paint Sanguinor. I haven't started with the body yet, but I am thinking of doing it gold

On the wings, did you use a light blue wash or shade white over light blue base color?

What colors did you use on the lower half? Vermin brown?

What paints are you using?

on the wings i used hawk turquoise, then started mixing it with ice blue and white. No wash, just that the icy blue was to waterdown. The picture served me to be able to see it. I had to redo those sections.

The brown is bestial brown (From Game Color paint) over brown primer

i never liked the idea of wings on a space marine but those look really nice, keep us updated.

yeah how did you get the wings on im trying to make grim and his wings are a pain??!!

i just glued them on. Had to hold them for a while for them to finally glue. I should have pinned them, much easier.

What base have you been using for gold? I've been using snakebite leather

i was originally using that, but then i changed it to Beasty Brown from Game Color

why is the face the same color as the wings? Is this model a spirit?

Face is a mask/ helmet. Maybe he just likes it like that:)

Couldn't think of another color, same material as the wings.

May be a really bright shining metallic gold, just a suggestion.
