Here are some of the rules we are using.

1)For the rule of shooting into hand to hand we'll do it like this...when you fire into hand to hand you will reroll misses. If you miss a second time you hit your own side. This means troops with better ballistic skills will have less of a chance of hitting their allies. You cannot shoot into hand to hand if your own troops or any army of the same race is involved. That means IG wont fire into a melee involving Sisters,Space Marines ect. I dont think I need to explain further. You can fire template weapons into melee as well.

2)Warp Gate:Chaos is attempting to open this Warp gate. Starting on turn two random warp resident will spill forth unless the gate can be contested. This will shut it down unless it is recaptured.Demons and Chaos marines gain a +1 to your inv save if within 6 inches of the gate. If you dont have one you gain a 6+ inve save. Any enemy units within 12 inches using psychic powers automatically get a perils of the warp result although the power will still work. The Chaos gods are protecting their minions in order to gain access to the material world. The Demon WILL attack any non-Chaos player(friend or foe) who touch the Warp gate.

3) I need the good side to nominate an over all commander. The benefit to this is an extra 500 points and an extra asset. This is to help counter the warp gate.

4) Each of you will receive a secret objective. This will help determine the allocation of prize support at the end.

5) Terrain will count as area. To see in or out you must be within 6 inches of the edge. You cannot shoot through terrain to hit units the other side. Terrain will afford a 4+ cover save. In order not to to give a target the cover save if your firing from terrain you must be on the edge. If you are not your target will get the cover save. All other terrain rules will use 5th edition rules and cities of death.

6)The mission will basically be a big take and hold. There will be 5 objectives to hold, the Warp gate will be worth 2. Remember in order to contest or hold any objective your unit must be in contact with it. One member of a unit is enough. I want this to be bloody, vicious and up close and personal. Im gonna bring my digital camera(if I remember). Im gonna see if I have any other spare blisters or Items to add to the prize support.

It's $10 per person to enter.

Game starts at 11am til we are done which should be 5 or 6 hours.

1 Ahriman(opened)
1 old Chaos Marine w/ Autocannon
1 Chaos Sorcerer
3 Metal Veteran Space Marines
1 Old School Plague Marine Champion
Store support is $125



The Warp Gate will vomit forth the following:
Round two-(3) Flamers w/ upgrades (8 ) Plague Bearers w/ upgrades
Round three-(6) Pink Horrors w/ upgrades
Round four-(2) Beasts of Nurgle
Round Five-(1) Ku' Gath the Plague Father
The Demons will not appear as long as the gate is contested. To contest or capture the gate your troops must be on or within the Terrain feature. One member of a unit touching is enough. Whatever rounds the gate is held the Demons scheduled to appear wont. If the gate is recaptured then the Demons will continue to appear according to the round. The demons who cant appear simply dont enter the game.

As far as prize support at the end we will determine the side that wins and then see who completed the personal objective.

1+ INV SAVE !!!

We know you are a chaos demon lover, but how about giving the good guys something also ? like a Webway that the Eldar are using to bring in reinforcements and allies, if a unit dies, it comes back on a 4+ or something, this would reflect reinforcements coming through the Webway, a Good side unit must always remain within 6 inches of the webway to controll the flow of troops, if at any time there are no good units within 6 inches, or if an evil unit gets within 6 inches of the gate, the gate becomes unstable and cannot be used.

Good side gets 500 extra points and a an extra strategic asset. All they have to do is contest the gate and we get NO benefits except the +1 Inv save.

Hey, im just trying to look out for my brothers in arms ( i do have a Space wolf army ! ) if the 500 points is PER guy on the good side it should balance it out, that 1+inv save threw me off ! lol

And just because im not playing, dont meant i cant offer some ideas ! Smile
That webway idea sounds cool, and it gives the Evil players an objective to take over too !

Wasnt well worded. You gain a +1 to your inv save. If you dont have one it becomes a 6+ inv save.

Luis thats how it works. READ dammit. If its contested it doesnt work.

500 points and a strategic asset should offset the gate. Anyhow if the gate is contested t Chaos gets nothing. The good guys get the asset and points no matter what. Im trying to add a little story to the game. Maybe it isnt perfectly balanced...who cares. As long as everyone has fun.

Chris your the Lead army. You get the points and asset. You can give some of the points or asset to allies or keep them all. Nobody else has expressed interest. Basically your Autarch forged this uneasy alliance and knows what needs to be done. Hence your in over all command. That doest mean anyone will listen of course, especially Ray(Black Templars) and Brain (Ultra Marines).

Im gonna be at Joels at around 10am to set up the tables. Anyone who would like to assist me Id appreciate it. We start at 11am and run until we finish. We'll be done by 6 or 7 pm. Each round will be 25 minutes per side. So thats 50 minutes per turn. We'll take a lunch break after the 3rd turn for an hour...or less if we want to get the game going again.

I like the idea...Although the idea of Space Marines following Eldars orders are a bit ridiculous if not uncharacteristic...It would be more like the other way around...If You remember in the dawn of War game it basically happened in a similar fashion where the Eldar basically 'joined' the space marines...Long live the Empereror....

Yes, by all means Ray.....bow down before your eldar masters. They are gonna have you space marines runnin around without any clothes on by the end of the day. There will be many a space marine ass scarred with the whip marks or Eldar sex toys.
