warhammer models made in china?
I've heard about sites where they make knockoff warhammer 40k stuff in china. Out of pure curiosity i would like to see them. Does anyone know where they are?!?!?

I registered so I could talk about this...
You (and everybody else interested) can MP me and I'll tell you everything you need to know (pricelist, how to order, pictures etc...)
For info: I'm personally involved in this business (no, I'm not Chinese, but I've been living there for 4 years). I usually don't talk openly on forums about it, it's mostly word of mouth... (by building up trusted relationships).
All I have to say about miniatures hobby: they suck. Poor quality, with cheap resin (white/yellow/green) and only few models...
I wish I could say more, but on a forum it's not advisable...
Anyway, if someone on this forum is trustworthy and willing to try, I will show my good faith by letting him pay AFTER reception of the goods. That way, he can show you the pictures and gives his impressions. I know I'm taking the risk, but it will be worth it for all of us
Cheers

Re: warhammer models made in china?
so i'm not sure to understand your meaning...
the starter sets like the "island of blood" or more like a "battleforce"?
if it's like island of blood, there's no point really... (simple and cheap models, not worth it)
if it's like a battleforce, there are always models we don't need in duplicate...

i also have these:
and everything else, but i haven't taken the pictures yet...
@ bond672: ok i see what you mean. Nope, nothing like that. No reason to copy dice or books, maybe the kits themselves, but they are usually already cheap and easy to find on the second hand market. And if you need the rulebook V6, i can give you the link to download it if you need

Yes, plenty, and in Neo resin!woulf5943 wrote:Any eldar gear ?
A lot have changed since last year regarding quality.
Neo Resin is way better than the so called "high quality resin cast" that you can find on different Chinese shops (miniaturehobby for example). They actually don't care about the products because they don't play, for them quality doesn't matter their hobby is to make money, not to paint and play like us.
So to give you more info on that Neo Resin:
- it's odorless (--> not like the gasoline toxic smell from normal resin)
- more resistant to bending (--> not brittle like the normal resin).
- it's especially useful for small and fragile kits.
- it's environmental friendly
- it's imported (not made in China), so higher quality.
- it's more expensive than normal resin. That's why Chinese sellers don't want it. They make less money.
- it's actually very close to the FW resin.
So be careful from where you buy...
Here for examples:
And a recent one: MagDominus, let's play the game of finding the differences
And here some pictures of my Eldars:
If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask!
I'm completing the HORUS HERESY! My goal is to have that range solely in Neo Resin
