40k tournament. Sat the 15th

Anyone else wanna come to this?

We have the prize support from 40k and Fantasy, which means we have $150 bucks to spread around, with NO buy in required.

I'm surprised about the no buy in. So does he have a seperate pool for FOW prize support, cause I hope were getting some for Nov.

Bill, I believe you need to spend more quality time with the wife. Ya know, give her your 1 on 1 attention. Drop the rugrat off at Granny's and have some fun that doesn't involve family . Then maybe she'll let you play the other weekend day.

Im gonna inquire, but my wife is leaving to Gainsville with her parents for Thanksgiving weekend. Sooo Ill be free the following weekend. That make screw the tournament for me.

Just wanted to say Thanks for everyone coming, making it a very stress free and relaxed tournament. I think everyone had a good time.

The results, for those interested, were as follows

1. Chris (eldar guy)
2. Ray ( razor Ramon)
3. Mike Harmon

No one had an answer for Chris' mounted seer counsel, as usual. The best chance to destroy them came with a full on assault by Justin's Death Company, but in the end of that combat, only 1 eldar had died, and the death company had been destroyed, go figure.

Once again, congrats to all, and hopefully we'll do it again in December, if we can.

Had a great time! First time I've placed in a tourny so I was really happy with it. Definatly got to find a way to beat down that Sear council. Halbrecht tied them up for some time but damn those guys are bad ass.

halbrecht is a panzee my lightning claws were no match for him!

That seer council is nasty as hell ,i got owned by them first time i faced them with my 13th company, second time i played them i got the charge on them with Ragnar and 4 terminator wolfguard with thunder hammers and ligthing claws, he rolled like crap on the saves and i was able to overwhelmed them. But they are almost impossible to kill from shooting.

Whats so good about them? I mean maybe I'm just not scarred by a massive CC unit, particularly with the new can't consolidate rules.

is lik e7 warlocks or so, an autarch and a farseer, all on jetbikes, t4, 3+ save, 4+ inv save. with fortune they can rerroll those 3+ saves or the 4+ saves, they got witchblades , so always wound on 2s or strgth 9 vs vehicles. the autarch gets like 5 strtgh 6 power weapon attacks on the charge. pretty damn nasty. And they are VERy fast on those jetbikes.
