Yes you have a Nine Jetbike unit that, because of various abilities, wounds can be spread out as the general so chooses.
They are highly maneuverable, and when they get the charge, they get a bunch of witchblade attacks hitting usually on 3's, (WS 5 , Initiative 5 due to enhance) and wounding on 2+. Plus they also get the 5 Strength 6 powerweapon attacks at Int 7 from the Autarch. They are incredibly durable with toughness 4 because of the bikes, and they get the re-rollable 3+ saves and 4+ Inv. saves. , which makes killing them very unlikely, not to mention that he can put some wounds on his 2 Multi wound characters if he needs to keep others alive.
On top of all that, Embolden lets them re roll leadership tests. So when they occasional lose combat by like 1 or 2, even if you roll high, you get to re-roll. Also, because of the stupid dire wolf FAQ release, they are able to re-roll the leadership test when making psychic tests as well, so they rarely every suffer a perils of the warp attack.
Except for poor George who suffered it 2 times with his farseer in the tournament

Huh, well they sound pretty gross. Though with S6 weaponery it's instant death, so that always helps on the multi wound guys.
I imagine thats a crap ton of points though. Probably his entire army.
Chris you gonna play in the Dragon's tournament next week?

I had a great time myself....It was fun facing off against the different armies. It the Raven Guard was an impressive army to say the least, and at the end I found out that that army was only 1275? unreal!!!
And I am hating orks more than ever, that little wizard dumbledwarf whatever the hell his name was...who ever plays orks I'm telling you now...hide that bastard or dont put him on the field...I was going after him no matter what from now on! ARGHHH!!! turned my marshall and EC into a squig!!!!
It was pretty funny though just wsnt that funny while I was playing!!!

I think to defeat a seer council, you have to have something to counteract his fortune ability. I was thinking a tooled out librarian with Psychic hood. Him along with a nice size group of terminators....I think that would help out a lot. All it takes is that psychic hood to work once or twice and there go the rerolls...which are what kepp that force from being destroyed quickly.

Yeah, I'll be there this sat.scurrdi wrote:Chris you gonna play in the Dragon's tournament next week?
As for the seer council, yeah it's a pretty solid anvil unit, but a little bad luck or against a few armies and it'll crumble. Prime example was against space wolves. The council (no power weapons) had no backup and the terminators dominated them in close combat, even without psychic hood or anything. I'm going to try some new things this sat, as with the council point sync its really difficult to give them proper backup even in 1850.
