Terror while in combat

Came up yesterday. Everybody swears they have read it somewhere, but i havent found it. If a unit is locked in combat and a terror causing unit moves nearby, does the unit take the test? I read under the rules of Terror and it doesn't say anywhere locked combat units dont take tests.

They are following under the premise that its the "within 6'' causes a terror test".

Now, unless 7th ed has changed something (haven't gotten the new book yet) the rule used to be that units which were locked in combat were considered "immune to pyschology" from outside sources.

Basically it was to stop what your talking about.

Check the rulebook under close combat and see if its in there. I believe it is.

Found it, it was at the beggining of the Psychology section. Says Units fleeing or in close combat never take Psychology tests

You didn't find it under terror because troops engaged in CC becoming immune to psychology is relevant to Fear and Panic as well. That's why I told you to either look at the beginning of the Psychology chapter or under ItP.

Yea i searched all over the psychology section last night, but until earlier today when i looked at the first page of the psychology section i didin't see it.

Yeah, I generally find it in the close combat section or somewhere else in there.
