Fantasy Campaign

Hey guys! would you be interested in a fantasy campaign? Maybe something with the new mighty empires campaign tiles?

I'm for it as long it meets only once preferably or twice a month.

So far we have Undead, Skaven and Bretonnians. Can we have a campaign with 3? I think we will need at least one more person. I would like it if the campaign were once or twice a month and on a weekend as I have school all other days

Might want to talk to Fred and Nate among others about it. I'm sure they'd be game to join in, which puts you at 5 right there.

too bad they dont give a rats ass about the forum... and really never come around.... I wish we could consider them steadfast gamers but I don't think they have the time....

Well, both Nate and Fred are pretty terrible about organizing themselves this is true, especially when it comes to the internet. However, I think for a campaign they'd make the time to do it. I know that when Fred ran his last summer he was there everytime. Fantasy is really campaign based so you'd have to ask them.

And trust me, I wish they checked the forums, I really do.

I'd definitely be down for some campaining. You know we could all chip in for the mighty empires set and use the rules from that.. It looks pretty friggin fun.

In fact, maybe I'll just go out and buy it with my friggin birthday money. How bout that !!

If I knew that people would be steadfast about a campaign, I would definitely want to do it.

I can paint the tiles if you want. I think we have a good crowd for this. With me,you, Luis, Max and Dale we have 5 people. Now we need to decide where and when we will campaign. I can only make it on Saturday or Sunday as I have school every other day. As for where, I'm fine with any of the stores. I think it should be every other weekend or once a month as it would be easier for most people.

I would be interested in playing in the campaign. I could make it once a month, two would be stretching it but I think possible. Any more than that and count me out. But it sounds like alot of fun.

I'd be in for once or twice a month, too...as long as the day isn't set in stone...I am game to play twice a month, but cannot always guarantee that it'll be the same weekend. We can do some interesting stuff with HTML if it's turned on for the forum. I turned it on for my profile, but am not sure if that will help people here. Anyway, count the High Elves in (I can hear everyone cheering now!!! )

Sounds good! The Mighty Empires will make the campaign a lot more fun and interesting.

@Stephan: Just tell me how you want 'em painted and I'll do it. Perhaps I could paint it up to represent a region in the Warhammer world like Kislev or the Chaos Wastes.

I'll have to go over what's in the set, how many pieces of this and that we have.. we'll sit down and go over how we want to do things... It'll be cooll.. Worse comes to worse, we can always sell it on ebay

I'd be very interested in a Campaign, so count me in!

I bought the Mighty Empires expansion today. The rules suck compared to the generals compendium. I say we use the tiles for our map, but stick to the GC campaigning style.

We need to come up with a system in which players that can campaign more frequently can still play and have fun, without completely overwhelming others who cannot campaign as frequently.
I'll think of something.

i have the expansion as well.

i have 2 free tiles they gave me with the BA wd.... lets set up times and battles! perhaps we should start slow with small points and bring larger battles later.

hmmmmm.....Perhaps you could take a picture of the campaign map, we send the campaign master our orders through PMs and then he posts who fights who and the players who will fight each other arrange a day to battle it out. This is just my crazy idea
