First DE list post

Just realized I've never posted a list here. I'll post a non-usual list I may end up using some time. Was curious about the dragon since I haven't used it in a log time and maybe throwing a lv4 on top to mix things up. See what you think, its a little monster mash (cok, dragon, hydra), a little magic, and all around evasive(needs more dark riders).

looks pretty gross.

You got some serious magic, though not as serious if you took the sacrificial dagger and a unit of spearmen sacrifices.

Pretty shooty, with a few nice counter assault units. The 3 terror causing creatures make it a pain for low leadership, fear vulnerable armies. good screening units with the Harpies, shades, and DRiders.

Looks like it would be a bitch to face.

I also look forward to trying my luck out against a list like this.

My only concern is a lack of static CR, which can cause problems when your facing armies like undead and stuff. While they won't necessarily be able to counter your attacking abilities (the monsters and all) they will be giving you alot of undead love to deal with.

Hopefully we'll be able to get a game in on Sunday! Looks pretty solid to me. I didn't know that Mages could ride dragons. That's pretty fantastic!

IMO Sorc and Dragon do not really mix. You want the dragon in comabt ASAP. You do not want the sorc in combat at all.

Use a fighty character for the dragon and put the mage somewhere safe (like in the black guard).

He's taking the Dragon for maneuverability and protection. Plus it causes terror. When you've got a level 4, blasting people to shit, it aint so bad to have it on a dragon.

the common "Cheese" dragon build is with a Lord, mundane 3+(2+shooting), Pendant of Khaelith(inverse ward), armour of eternal servitude(Regen), and Crimson Death(Always Str6).

I understand why you use it with a mage, I just don't think that is the best use of the points.

Well, I think it's cool that you GET a dragon!
