Animosity 4!!!

So fare friends one and all, allow me to show you something that I have discovered which looks to be pretty awesome.

I've been following this on the main Bretonnian forums. It's located on www.dawarpath.com where they seem to run huge online campaigns for Warhammer Fantasy.

Animosity 4, which means it's the fourth campaign that they've run, will be starting on Oct. 31st. I know I'm going to be joining up, and I think it'd be awesome for a bunch of us here in Miami-Dade and Broward to hope on board as well!

I allready registered, im prob gonna be using my Skaven..although breaking out the Waaagh is tempting.

Right now im looking on how exactly this thing works.

I didn't have time to read the whole thing but it sounds cool.

How exactly do you play games online?

No idea, thats what im working on finding out.

You play your battles in person and then do reports on them, explaining point size, region fought over, type of battle, and outcome.

All of those get worked into a massive computer program which calculates who's winning and losing in each province. The GMs then take the information and create special "events" to stimulate and keep things interesting.


Thats the basic idea, anyways.

Lizardmen can join any number of factions. I'm currently on the ODS (Order of the Dragon Shield). I know Luis has joined The Dark Pact (Chaos Dwarves, Dark Elves, Skaven, etc.).

There's also an Orc faction, a group called The Outcasts (like Neutral Good), the Annointed (Chaos), and The Great Migration (Ogres!)

It's a bit confusing. Maybe we can all get together and go over how the campaign works, ect. How about next monday at my house? And we could get a few small games in too.

Well, I'm free until 3:30pm then I have to get ready for work. But I doubt anyone else can play then. But if you want to get a game in, that's cool. I'm just not sure what faction to join with my Lizardmen.
