1850 space wolves
So the new list is out and I am converting my list from old to new. This is about the third list I have come up with. The first one was meh, second one was play tested and did exceptionally well against black templars. So here's the third list that I have come up with I feel should do very well.

Wild Soul and Mjnor with grey hunter pack 4 inside of land raider.
Arnold with one long fang pack.
Torgund with the other long fang pack.
Grey hunter pack 3 is alone.
Strategy:
-Land raider serves as a scare tactic,fire magnet, and objective stealer.
-Rune priests in grey hunter packs go where needed. Rune priests will living lightning lightly armored transports and tanks. When in range, murderous hurricane squads.
-Grey hunter pack 3 is a sit at home objective team. Given a rhino in case they needa move.
-Long fangs target threats av 12 and under first, then everything else.
So let me know what you all think. I wanted to keep it simple with low cost squads and HQ's to hopefully give me a good balance of fire power, models, and (of course) CC that us wolves love so dearly!
Oh and forgot, some of rules are funky so I'll explain for those who might input, but have not seen the dex.
-Each hq slot available in the FOC can hold two HQ's (for up to a total of 4).
-The storm bolter wg on the long fang pack was just so i could get that 5th slot to get the CML wg. (didnt want the whole "why 24' in a 48' squad discussion)
-Wolf Priests grant fearless and preferred enemy against a specific unit type (infantry, MC, etc) chosen at the beginning of the game.
And that should be bout it

Looks like a really well rounded force. Shame you don't have anything to put in the Crusader but it does make an excellent shield for advancing Rhinos. We need more LOS blocking terrain!

I wonder how my Orks will fare against the new Wolves, im so glad they finally got their codex. Gonna have to start rebuilding my SW force.

Yes and no. All of the supposed uber units get a "meh" from me, be it either point cost, or just lack luster abilities.
Now the good stuff from the dex are wolf priests, rune priests, grey hunters, wolf guard and long fangs. Very cheap, very efficient, very deadly depending on how you tool them.

There is really something to be said for a Lord on a Thunder Wolf. I mean wow, that is just nasty. Base Strength 5 Toughness 5 Attacks 5 Cavalry HQ with Str 10 Fist/Hammer. You could also have 4 of them if you wanted.
