Why not? I like the contrast it provides between the dark Germans and the bright white snow.Besides,I have some greatcoat troops mixed in with my normal troopers.The only thing I don't like is that they'll probably look a bit off on the green flocked boards at Joel's.

Well that's an easy answer. Get Joel to make a winter board. The demand for FOW is pretty big and your not the only winter-based army in the store (I know Don's Russians are winter based).

Hell if Luis ever paints a figure it'd probably be winter too! Very Happy

My new Soviet Tankovy battalion is going to be a white washed, battle of kursk style army. So that'll be winter.

The battle of Kursk was in the summer Stephan. July 5th to July12th 1943. No white wash there. Try summer cammo.

Try Modeling some brewed up T-34s with burnt little slavic bodies hanging outta the wrecked remains. Would be nice terrain.....ow about Some Germans jumping up and down in frustration staniding outside thier Panther Tank with the broken transmission.
