What Ive gathered from the trailer is God is tired of humanity and decides to wipe us out. So its The Archangle Micheal defending humanity against God...nice. Makes you feel loved.

Really? I was laughing so hard at the trailer, it was so cheesy. It's like someones bad rpg campaign come to life. Angel wielding dual M-16's somersaulting while firing.....

The movie poster they were giving out at Dragoncon wiith an angel holding an MP5K and a knife... lol

They need to make it more biblical. They always try to turn these types of movies into a Jackie Chan movie. I didnt know you could kill a Demon with an M-16 or G4 assault rifle. Being an old school D&D guy you needed a magical weapon...preferably a Holy Avenger wielded by a Paladin. Also Im not a religious person but if the supreme being wants us wiped out how is one of his minions(he created) going to defy him? Wouldnt God just will him to cease to exist...party over. Ill check it out(probably on DVD),I like the basic concept, but how would anyone or anything go head to head with the big guy?

It should be more epic, but the entire movie apparently is set at some desert rest stop. Not very biblical epic war setting.

IIRC this is based on an old FPS video game.

The catholic church is going to go nuts over this since God's angels are basicly here to "kill us all". Funny they look like demons. Lucky we have a bazooka.

Needs some serious bad lines too, which I'm sure is in the movie though this looks like some kind of wanna be terminator film.... just with angels instead of cyborgs from the future. Odd how cyborgs from the future feel more plausible than this movie.

This is definitely going to be a cinematic masterpiece.

If your going to use the Heaven and Hell story line, then you need to have God as omnipotent.

He could waste our planet in the wave of his hand, no need to take us out one by one with an army of demon hawkmen.

I prefer the Nathan Brazil angle where he recalls one day in deep thought how hard it was to calc and aim the meteor that hit the earth to end the dinosaurs era. Jack L. Chalker's Well of Souls series would make a much better movie too.

Here's an idea. How about God decides to help humanity against these demons and sends some of his Angels to protect us and reinforce our faith. The good guys are the good guys. Look at me talking about faith. We always have these twisted plots in these movies and The Archangel Gabriel is always the "bad guy".

MP5 is a good gun.

I really like Rok's story line, million times better and more plausible.
Kinda of Matrix slant. Evil is really cause by demons hidden in human form (think corporation, corrupt government officials), God not only reveals demons (so like suddenly crackheadbusch would show his true appearance) but also sends in help to regain the balance. He will not completely rid the world of evil, just get back to manageable state.

There is so much evil today, this movive would have plenty of action to boot.

The Well of Souls was a super computer which ran the whole universe. Nathan Brazil and his female associate Mavra Chang need to get to the Well to reset the program.

The Matrix series steals a good chunk of this concept, especially for movies 2 and 3.

The first book is unrelated to the other that came later, but this one starts a 4 book classic cult series from the 70s.

While we are on classic Chalker, the 4 Lords of the Diamond series is one of the best Sci-Fi things I have ever read. It would make an EXCELLENT movie. We need to buy the rights!
