Imperial Guard: Creed

Bored.... Decided to paint some outstanding projects today. Might to his Buddy on Christmas Eve to have the set done.

nice work on the scar Mike, that came out really good!

Used a watered down mix of red gore and liche purple at 1:1 mix to get the old scar look and then re-highlighted the surface a little. I may give him stubble. I wanted an urban Camille scheme though so I could keep him in theme with my army thus far. His coat is brown though on the other side with gold trim.

question, and only because you brought my eye to it, not because it stood out before: the camo pants on Creed, after I saw you mention them i noticed that they look a little flat, any chance you're going to go over them with a wash and maybe a quick highlight? just a thought.

Mike, what primer do you use? Sometimes I notice your miniatures look a little grainy, and I thought it might be the primer (say, GW primer).

Love the urban camo details on this guy.

Going to touch up the camo pattern a bit. Just wanted to post an in progress;) also I was using gw chaos black but just switched to krylon outdoor flat black and it lays down very smooth so far;) my worst grain was when I did the hell hammer much to my horror;)
