Tomb Kings

What do you think about the tomb king army

Tomb Kings are expected to be rereleased this year - possibly in the next few months.

Currently the TK represent consistancy.
You don't roll for spells and all spells are useful
Their spells always go off
Their archers are uneffected by normal shooting modifiers
They have army wide fear, and thus are ITP
They never break from combat (they will crumble)

From a power curve perspective - they sit a bit on the low side. It's an older book and they don't have any way to consistantly deal with some of the mega monsters seen today.

Daaamn...so that explains why someone sold me a crapload of them supercheap. Unloading before the new model love!

Not sure how you can imporve much on a skeleton.
I'm sure you'll still be able to use them.

I think they are doing a plastic kits for Scorpions, Carrion, and the Catapults. You MAY see new Tomb Guard, but based on the new GW prices your probably better grabbing the old metal ones while they last.
