3 vs 3 Flames of war battle

Last Friday we had a three on three late war game at Sunshine. It just came together six people showed up with three allied and three Greman armies. Each army was 1500 points. We played a standard mission but we used three objectives not the standard two. The game was fun and did not get bogged down like a Apoc. 40K game. The allies had two armies of 101st and 82nd A.B. and one of Hell on Wheels 3rd American armor. The Germans were made up P.Gren company, a Recon company and the "funnies from France". I was running the P. Gren Company with Little Cesar and Joey as team mates. Ugly Cesar "A.K.A. Kingdomcome" played the American armor with Alex and Rob in support. My team and I made the plan to focus on the American armor with the hope of breaking the company. By turn three, we were able to destroy almost all of the American armor company. In multi-company games if you break one company the whole army flees. That is just what happened. The game was alot of fun and I think everyone liked it (EVEN UGLY CESAR).

I will be at Sunshine this Weds 05/19/10 around 2 P.M. with Cesar and Dave to play flames. We can adjust for any point totals. I am also availiable to play Thurs and Fri in the afternoon. Let me know if you can come by......Rufus (The Good Looking)

I can sense the sexual tension you have for me Ruf. It was a fun game, the Allies couldn't roll to save their lives and the Axis pretty much dominated the game with timely rolls and targeting only me. Douches! Warbird (Rob) and Alex were having a hard time digging foxholes ALL game and I was having fun running around 1 Tiger IE, 1 King Tiger, 2 Elefants, 3 artillery batteries, and an annoying recon platoon. In the end the game was fairly quick for how large it was, but still maintained it's appeal. It was a fun experience. At one point Rob and I were High-Fiving each other when we were able to roll a 3+!!!! LOLs all around! :p
Looking for more people to come out and share in the festivities. Hope to see more and new faces soon.....

You guys had a huge hard-on for my -1- artillery battery, and it knocked two platoons out of the game when it defended itself in the Assault.

I had a really fun time seeing 9,000pts on the table all at once gave the battle an epic feel. The Allies biggest problem was the 3rd Armor was too fast for the Paratroopers to keep up causing the tanks to be out in the open. Also the fact that a 3+ was considered a good roll for Cesar and I didn't help much. Also learned Recon does have its advantages and I'm looking into adding it to my army.

Recon is amazing. You just have to know how to use it.

Sound like much fun. I'll be at Sunshine on Thursday as usual. I need some Russian players to show up to motivate my Finns properly!

You guys lost cause the might of the Soviet army was not present. Axis players tend to have their balls crawl back inside their bodies when faced by the might of the Peasant cannibal army.

For the record... I Smoked the king tiger twice. So i did more than just fail to dig into fox holes... This is Alex by the way.
