1750 LW 9eme compagnie

They have the neat 'Spear Head' rule from the Cobra book and the combat platoons get to re-roll motivation tests to counter attack.

How important would tanks be in an armored rifle platoon? I like the infantry, but I don't feel comfortable only spamming 6 tanks. Call me crazy, but shermans are paper tigers.

Played Ceaser (autarch) with the list. It worked reasonably well. He was in a very sexy position until my field artillery went on a TOT rampage and knocked out 2 Brummbars and one infantry stand. The following morale check for the brummies saw them fleeing the battlefiled and having his left flank collapse. Then it came down to a foot race with his panzer II's trying to get to a clear objective. It was a grueling game, with both sides going back and forth. In the end (turn11?) I held the one needed objective and he was a hair off from contesting. He destroyed 3 platoons I was able to get 6 of his. I'd need to get a few more games with this list to give it a fair shake.
