what would happen if joel had to close down sunshine? I know i'm new to wargaming and all but i wondered what people would say/do =/ .
I personally hope he never closes down cause the tables for gaming are da bomb . ( Plus 20% discount )

So just want to see what you guys think?

P.S. : Brought this up because I heard hobby shops have been having issues sales wise and have had to close shop

Probably more home games with crappier terrain. Our opponent pool would decrease, that's for sure. That's one of the biggest advantages of stores. Even those willing to commute up north would not do it as often.

That and being able to get shit like paints the moment you want 'em.

The guys that run Florida Supercon are opening a store at the end of the month.

Were in Davie.

On University, right across from the Home Depot that is close to the Super Target on Stirling.

They are opening pretty much in the next shopping center next to Cool Stuff Games.

Details are sketchy, they open Halloween weekend. The store sounds like it's going to be heavy into anime and comics but they are supposedly going to do gaming as well. Sandy who was involved in War and Pieces works with Supercon now and part of it.

Now certain how gaming centric it will be or anything, it's odd for them to be opening next to Cool Stuff when that store is jammed with card gamers right now and thats a big chunk of gaming money there.

We do a lot of home gaming as it is, but I would miss tournaments.

i would no care either way...i would go to Tates a bit more and paint more...possibly take the game more seriously. and then open Dakai's Gaming Depot

I would probably have to go through the whole "trail" of the next-nearest store to my house...which would involve various traffic jams and other misc annoyances while we got back into the groove of things again...

The world would end. Some of us would have to meet girls. Others would languish in marital despair, slowly pulled apart by nagging wives and needy children. Friends outside the gaming circle would need to be made in order to continue to socialize, and to them, our beautifully painted armies would be nothing more than toy soldiers. We'd be nerds. How about this? Joel opens several mega gaming stores and totally shuts down all the other gaming stores.

The clowns that run SuperCon open a store near Cool Stuff? I can already tell this is a brilliant group of people. The results will probably take down both stores.

Right now Supercon's store seems to be mainly a comic book store, not that big on the gaming it looks.
