Fateweaver is awesome!

This guy cannot be killed. Just unreal. If only 3/4 of my army hadn't misshaped into the warp during tonight's tourny. I gotta build a better list around this guy.

After yesterday, I can see where I need to change things. Gonna use my pink horrors as plague bearers. That should be better, rerollable invulnerable save and FNP should be sweet. Soul Grinders are fine, though I need a DP or Bloodthirster to fly and punch stuff. Masque was a gimmick and points can be better spent. Great unclean one might serve membetter too. I just need better synergy and advice.

Fateweaver + Plaguebearers = you're not shooting me off this objective.

Fatewaever is nice, but its also a liability. Shoot everything at him for the first two turns. If you get him your in business. If you don't get ready for a long game.

I've faced that thing 3 times. The first time I didn't know any better and got massacred. The next two times it was gone turn one. If you wanna get technical it averages out to 26 shots to make 1 wound. It's still a beast, there's no denying that, but its still manageable once you figure him out.

I don't know about calling you out, but a game with you is always pleasurable. I won't be able to play for the next two weeks. I'm getting married + honeymoon. So 3 weeks from now we can game.

yeah im sorry i shot alot at that beast and he didnt go down and it decided to land on target in front of my entire force!!!

One word: Termagaunts (or as per 5th ed, terma"gants")... Fateweaver was down to one wound left before I charged it with 11 or so gaunts; that's 22 attacks w/ preferred enemy, furious charge, & poison... and if exhaustion hadn't gotten the better of me, I would've made certain of the gaunts hitting on 4-ups rather than 5-ups... tldr: Fateweaver was marked for certain death.

Although, for what it's worth, Fateweaver's still a bad-ass in my book, just not an indestructible bad-ass. :-p

True, funny when I ran mech I almost always got stuck in terrain rolling dbl 1s.

Fatecrusher in the best Deamon list by far. I'd consider taking Fateweaver, Epideamius and Nurgle shit. That way you've got a bunch of tough shit that gets better as you kill and Fateweaver lets them reroll the saves if they get wounded!

Yep, reroll armor or cover saves. Then roll for FNP. Very resilient.
