since there are alot of new players coming in with small armies. Make a kill teams list. from the missions book here are the rules.

may divide up firing attacks and even assault different models.
no reserves.
deployment a 2x2 square. 1d6 pieces of terrain. pick a corner deploy in your 1x1 edge, 6inch radi circle from the middle is core zone and out of limits for initial deployments.

We have been doing combat patrols. Been a lot easier rules wise. Truth be told we play whatever we can.

I've personally found fielding the 400 pt games to be fun, I just run 16 jetbikes in my 400 pt games.
