Painting flesh. Empty Painting flesh.

Whats the best wash to use on exposed skin, especially the face. Im using vallejo basic skin tone. To dry brush use skin tone with a little white? As far as painting a guy whose black I use scorched earth. What wash and dry brush color do I use. Im an equal opportunity warlord. I dont think only white English people will be around in 40000 AD.

I actually like the GW "Tallarn Flesh" as a base. So something dark and fleshy. Or brown mixed with a light fleshy color. I tend to add varying degrees of elf flesh (or some other lighter flesh color) after that to bring up the higher points. I think white drowns out the color and will make it look pale but very small points of white could work imo.

btw, post pics of those IG 'marines' when you've got a mini done. Cool

I will. I have 5000 paints, but I dont have Catachan green or cayman green. Is there another green that is close enough to those colors?

Maybe try mixing some basic browns with green? I'm not sure.
