I got my figures today. For those of you that have not gotten their's yet, be ready. They are smaller then the GW stuff you are used to. Also there is a lot of stuff you have to glue on. These figs are not for the novice modeler.

They are supposed to be 28mm but they are smaller then the GW stuff I am used to. And they are super tiny next to Warmachine/hordes stuff.

They are true 28mm. Gw figs are "heroic" scale 28mm and more like 32mm.

They seem to be similar to gw larger 28mm sizes. The scale is generally determined by height but proportions tend to be more larger and comic book like bodies with gw and pp figs. Sculptor of course will cause variations, some older infinity figs were larger than others like the shaolin monks seem too large next to many infinity figs.

WM/H seem a bit smaller than GW to me. Closer to WoTR models. Less "heroic" scale.

Depends on the models, some of their figs seem more true 28mm than others. In the original wave of fig releases for WM, they had some really small models that seemed true 28mm but then others were huge in comparison. Lot of those older models have been redone and made bigger since. To me PP is like GW where they just aren't that caring about true scales and do what they want to look good. Malifaux are true 32mm figs, and they are about exact same size as GW/PP models.

Just finished my remote bot. Very much like a fushikoma from ghost in the shell. Still can't get over how small and detailed they are. Can't wait for the rest of my army to come in. Any word on bow Joel feels about us starting this game with minis bought online?

Vycem and frantic played last night and is didn't even notice. To be honest, who cares if Joel gets upset? He'll start charging 2bucks a game in no time to recoup the loss.

OK the individual spikes on the alien backs is a bit annoying - I think my guys will be spike free.

Also, how do you use the "hologram" images (hackers and such)?

4 of my 9 models were single cast with no pieces cheers

The other ones don't look to bad, well except the para-trooper model.

I just realized my pin vice is out of drill bits. Gonna have to make a trip to pearls for that and new brushes.

Pan O models are annoying to put together also as they seem to all have the little head bits to glue on. Worst are the ones with little back fins and spine antennae as they constantly get broken off during play, and too small for pinning.

I would cheer anytime I got a single piece infinity fig.
