Forgive me, in my Naivete... I assumed that since Tiger meant Tiger, I thought Panzer meant Panther... you know going with the whole fierce animal type of look.

When I read Wiki on it it says that the word generally means Armoured, stolen from the french Pauncier, which means breastplate.. much like the English word Paunch.
