Duke and Gen. Hawk were cast pretty well... imo.

Storm shadow and Snake Eyes look cool. Lotso ppl have complained that Gi Joe is now an International force in the movie, not just an American one.

I think for the past 10 years or so they haven't been a "real American hero"

i would have to check Mattel or Hasbro or whomever's site, but i'm pretty sure they aren't marketed as "American" heroes anymore
