Re: Warhammer 40K Tournament --- June 14
We had six people:
Alfred - Guard (me)
Chris - Eldar
Wilson - Daemons
Ceasar - Dark Eldar
JC - Guard
Colin - Black Templars (and by the way some sick drop pods!)
So yeah it was fun and turned out quite good. Was done in a timely manner and we were able to leave by 8pm. Good shit.

Testament to the fact that 40k is alive at Sunshine.
more people should show up to take part in some free store credit.
$85 1st: Alfred
$45 2nd: Chris
$20 3rd: Wilson
Everyone else walked away with $10 of store credit for just throwing down $5!
PS.
Caesar don't talk shit that it's sad that only 3 people showed up when you didn't even express interest to play.

Now that is very impressive. Talk about a great set of prizes for the tourney. Wish I had been there.

Re: Warhammer 40K Tournament --- June 14
Well here are some pics guys. Sorry for the blurry ones, but I just got the camera and still fiddling with the settings and the motion settings. Woops for the blur. Enjoy!
My game against Chris. Take and hold style mission.

Ceaser and JC with Wilson in the background
Epic comparisons. Large tank is mine and the smaller one is thanks to the British gentlemen. His name escapes me at the moment.
Wilson (teal shirt and daemons) vs. Chris (Eldar and black shirt / long hair)

Our ever curious rules judge and pain in the ass time teller: Max
JC vs Colin
My new Forgeworld hellhounds which won the day yay! Demolisher's played a large part in silencing the Emperor's enemies.
Nicely painted Dark Eldar chick front shot.
Nicely painted Dark Eldar chick butt shot.
Nicely painted Dark Eldar chick. Cool hair.
Valhallan reinforcements from the 109th Court of Valhalla
Valiant Stand of the Kasrkin versus the Dreadnought
More like valiant last stand
Colin's Drop pods, Templas and Ven Dread. Drop pods were pvc inventions. Lots of props to colin for that one.
Colin's Drop Pods encompass jc's mass infantry
The event was mucho fun.
PS: Max I need that certificate to frame it and pretend Im a badass.

Re: Warhammer 40K Tournament --- June 14
Looks a good tournament! Glad to see that events are happening at both stores and the game seems to be thriving quite well!
Glad to hear the tournament went well. I haven't seen some of those players in a while. And what the hell happened to Joel's back wall?? A bookshelf????
The drop thing I've seen before. Me and Mike Ronan were gonna make a few a year or two back but he got too complicated with it and I can't use drop pods so gave up.
