Re: 1500pt Indian Rifle Company
The list looks good. I am trying to work in a third rifle platoon into my company. I can't decide what to drop. I have found that reduced platoons are very vulnerable to enemy fire. The British ( and Indians) can't make combat attachments.
Consider using Heavy Mortars in place of mortars and the Field Artillery. They are cheap and you can use the points left over to fill out the anti tank platoon and the machine gun platoon.
If you are happy with 2 pounder guns in your anti tank platoon, then no changes needed there.

Thanks for the advice! I changed the list up a little but I'm reluctant to drop the field artillery.

Re: 1500pt Indian Rifle Company
The problem with giving someone advice on a list is they end up with a list
that looks like yours.
That said, 25 pounders are a good choice for artillery. They have range and
flexibility [bombard and direct fire].
2 pounder guns are too weak. 6 pounders would be better for anti tank
duties.
Heavy machine gun teams are too vulnerable to enemy fire. They are an
obvious target and attract enemy fire early in the game. I put them in
MMG carriers for mobility and protection, but it is expensive to do. If you
want long range anti infantry, go with the regular 3" mortars.
Keep the third rifle platoon. It gives you flexibility and board coverage.
I just saw the edited list at this point in my post. Shame about dropping
the Bombard. That would have been a nasty surprise for an opponent.
If you are keeping the Field Artillery, then take regular 3" mortars instead
of Heavy mortars to save a few points for the other platoons you are
keeping [Bombard or 6 pounders].

Re: 1500pt Indian Rifle Company
Just for tactics. Use the carrier patrol as your heavy machine guns and keep
them with your infantry platoons as support. You have and 8" spread
between each Universal Carrier, so you can cover a lot of infantry teams.
You should play defensively and force the opponent to come to you. Then
chew him up with dug in troops. You artillery should convince him to come
to you.
Use the tanks in support of infantry instead of sending them [tanks or
infantry] out alone. Infantry tanks are good at plugging gaps and stopping
the enemy advance.
Once the enemy forces have taken heavy casualties, advance to the
objectives.

Re: 1500pt Indian Rifle Company
Hmm, looks like a pretty solid list. You'd have to try it out to be sure but otherwise I like it.
