I decided to make a 1750 list for my Indians.I downgraded the Churchills(they never supported the Indians in North Africa according to the guys over on the FoW forum) but upgraded the AT platoon and threw in the Blacker bombards.I've also added a gurkha platoon which should come in handy for assaults.I'm considering dropping it though to get a full battery with EIGHT guns! What do you guys think?

EDIT: I dropped the Gurkhas and downgraded the Matildas to get the full Battery.I just couldn't resist its awesomeness!

The rules for the British bombart (in the main rulebook) will make taking the full battery very interesting (the option for the double wide template is just too good to pass up). That being said, you can place them as individual units, thus giving you basically 2 different artillery crews. Keep that in mind also.


I thought I read on your army list thread that churchills here in use by the indians?

I never said that Churchills supported the Indians.One guy said they did and then another said they didn't.Anyways, I think the full battery should be nasty for my opponent.A plus is that this force is historical( something I think more players should start doing.) This force could represent the Indians during the Battle of Gazala and If I upgrade the Valentines to Matildas it could also represent the Indians during the East African campaign.For late war I'll add Sherman IIIs.So this force can be easily switched to represent all the periods.

Good, a historical force is what you should have to represent yourself!
