Imperial Guard Rumors update??

I've heard some rumors and theories that the new IG codex is coming out in Dec. Does anyone know anything else about this?

Nope, closest I've heard is around March/April or so next year. I doubt they'd bring them in December then follow them up with the 2nd wave of Orks. Besides, I got the November white dwarf and it advertises a LOTR as the big focus of the December issue...do you really see them giving more coverage to a LOTR release over the Guard? No way all 15 LOTR players would make THAT worthwhile.

Way it looks like:
December: LOTR, holiday bundles
January: 2nd Wave of Orks (Snikrot + Battlewagon = win)
February: Lizardmen
March: IG or LoTR release
April: IG by then definitely

-3 Leman Russes per HS slot. (requires certain conditions to be met)
- Leman Russes can now move and fire ALL their weapons (including the Battle Canon), regardless of their strength.
-New doctrines, including one which provides +1 to cover and allows firing while going to ground. -New Plastic Command squad.

I think the nerf to vehicle move and shooting in 5th ed was to simply give IG tanks the ability to shoot and move

Well they better give us something worth while damnit! I mean comeon, were supposed to have "some of the toughest and most mobile platform tanks" in the game, yet in comparison the IG tanks suck, especially with the new template rules.
