Monsterpocalypse Events at W&P

Been talking with Sandy and we are going to try to set up some Monsterpocalypse events in the near future. Game is a big hit but oddly enough no one is really running any events for the game in South Florida though everyone is selling the stuff it seems. Anyways we are looking to do a monthly tourny to start off with.

We haven't settled on dates yet but talking with Privateer and looking at the prize support we have available. If your interested let me know and possible days that would work best for you.

Right now looking at Sundays or possibly Saturdays at War and Pieces.

I'll post more details as soon as we figure out our first event, we got some prize support already available we can use.

Kyle, if you can post the particulars feel free to post the event in the calendar. Try to make sure you have the t's crossed and the i's dotted, so:

Were finally starting to try and run events at W&P. We got a tourny we are trying to get enough people for the end of April (ignore the 2nd repeat game listed with no one registered). Need 4 more to register by mid April to ensure we get prize support. Joey has some older promos from PP that we also can use for prize support.

$5 entry, and if we get a good showing we will see about adding more prize support or potentially store credit.

Someone else set up these events on the site but I'm basically going to be in charge of them and most of the Monsterpoc gaming at the shop from now on.

As mentioned before we are also interested in seeing about doing a weekday game if there is interest. Right now looking at Tuesday or Thursday to possibly to nearly weekly games as well along with a tournament the last Sunday of each month.

Along with the current coming tournaments, W&P will be attempting to do Thursday night Monsterpocalypse. Open gaming and if enough players show up we can do tournaments with in store prize support.

I will be on hand with my gear and if your interested in a demo I would be glad to set one up or play a few rounds with ya. We will begin attempting to meet for Thursday night gaming on April 9th.

There are 2 RTTs at Tate's this month and at least 1 WM/H hordes touney going down.

You may want to make sure you don't conflict with one of those dates to get the best turnout.

I don't really make the dates of these but were not really worried about competing with Warhammer games as it's generally very different player base playing CMG. We got a fairly decent sized group who play, the one problem is getting people to get on the site and actually sign up for accounts and register for events

Thursday games are also really more of open play, we will run tourny if theirs interest and enough people show up for Thursday nights.

The actual PP prize supported events will be put on the event calender.

The event organizer that set up April and Mays events made a mistake of scheduling an event on Mothers Day you will see if you look at the Calender. Another tourny for the week after has been scheduled instead for the same prizes.

Also added another tourny to get the Mega Nova ESR fig on Thursday May 28th to the schedule due to high demand for that figure.
