Miami Stores

Hey guys,
I email the following stores every month:
Sunshine
War & Pieces
(Formerly) Silver Dragon
(New) Tate's Gaming

I emailed all of them on 2/25/09 with the following message:

This is just a reminder from The Traitor Legion, If you have any events, tournaments, or sales coming up in the month of March please let us know so we can post them up for people to see.

The Traitor Legion is a group of over 70 gamers in the greater Miami area who have banded together in a forum where they can speak freely, exchanging gaming ideas along with anything else on their minds. We receive over 800 visits and 1200 pageviews each month by our active community and your tournament or event should be posted there to insure a good turn out for your store.

As soon as you are able if you could email me a copy of your schedule of events for the month of February I would be sure to get them posted up to The Traitor Legion as soon as possible to assure that your stores are all promoted.

As of right now the ONLY store owner who has regularly responded to the email is Joel @ Sunshine. I've emailed them all again a few minutes ago letting them know that players are willing to come and play at their stores, but they need to communicate with me/us.
If you shop at a store and can speak with the owner, please pull them aside, tell them that I am trying to promote their stores *FOR FREE* and that for 30 seconds worth of work they are promoting themselves to a group of 70 players.

I think we should just link to the monthly calendar PDF on Tate's site and then you woun't have as much maintenance.

Does Tate's run any tournaments or anything like that, or is it just open gaming?

They run all kind of events.

No Warhammer tourneys this month, but in April they have a RTT for both 40k and fantasy.

Fantasy is on April 26th, Start time is 10am. 2500 points. Must be painted and based.

I THINK 40k is on the 12th

I've never been there, but I've heard they have quite a large player base.

Actually I have had a long conversation with Tate (mostly about terrain). You really need to talk to Brian, he is the manager.
If you want I can talk to him.

One would assume that the manager or the guy who handles the day-to-day stuff would be able to access the email address and check it periodically.

Please, Jerry, if you have access to Brian, talk to him, let him know that I am emailing the store every month now and if he would like his events posted he just needs to drop me a quick line.
