Disorder and testing at the beginning of the turn
On page 35 it states "A disordered formation must therefore take a courage test at the start of its move phase."
However in the game play example on page 21 under Rohan Move- Jeremy began his move phase by retreating Erkenbrands Riders instead of Rallying them.
So according to the rules, there is no choice. But in the example there is. So which is correct?
The next question seems simple but hoping there is a loop hole to save epic heros.
If an epic hero is part of a formation that has only 1 company and that company has become equal or below 50% do you lose the epic hero when you are forced to remove the company??
I'm guessing that you do... but was hoping there was some loop hole.

Re: Disorder and testing at the beginning of the turn
Here is another question, does a Hero gives its special abilities to the formation he joins ?
Example: Lurtz has Pathfinder (all), does the formation he joins ALSO gets the benefit of the Pathfinder rule ?
Since i dont think you can play a hero like Lurtz on his own, then whats the point of having Pathfinder if he cant give it to the formation he joins ?

Re: Disorder and testing at the beginning of the turn
Hurricane, if your company is disorder you have ONLY three choices; stay put (with only ONE dice of attack) re-organize (roll courage) or retreat. This is what WotR rule book is refering to.
So instead of rolling for courage Jeremy elected to retreat, you roll a D6 to see how far back you go. If you are block by terrian or ANY formation friend or foe, you are destroyed. Very tricky, very dangerous.
You lose your Epic Hero if 50% of the LAST company of the formation is lost, unless you moved him/her out during the controlling player's movement phase. So move them out if you do not want to lose. Of course this is not always possible.
