The argument that the target formation is labeled Orcs and not Spirits is a weak one.

Don't make it more complicated than it is.

The argument im trying to make is that the spell and D3 hits is intended for a formation, not an individual piece.

But I will seriously shut up now, and never mention this again.

With regard to this topic, I think that until we get an official FAQ rule from GW we will need to agree to disagree on this topic.

I'd suggest discussing this rule with your opponent before your game.

I also think we should start and compile an FAQ thread to forward to GW for some clarification. I'll put this Q right at the top.
