Outland Station will be the new venue for Warmachine/Hordes in S. Florida

Hi everyone! Good News, the boards for Outland Station should be ready to go in about a week or two. There is plenty of room and they can support about 6 4' x 4' tables for 12 players.

The boards just need to have a grass mat applied and sealed with Matte.
Here are some pictures:





This is my table at home and an example of what the board will look like when complete. There will be various green shades of grass and desert boards.



In addition, Outland also has 4' x 6' boards for WHFB, WH40K, LoTR, AT-43 whatever. Here is that set up. They can support up to 4 4' x 6' tables.



So like I said earlier, in a few weeks or less there will be comfortable miniature gaming at Outland Station.

No more bullshit. The revolution is coming.

Gab, if they start with AT-43 I am interested.

But I see a problem with the tables. Looks like you can only really walk around three sides. And I have been to the store before, it's going to just as tight as Sunshine once people are there from what I can see from the pictures.

Is Outland going to charge any fees?

The pictures are deceptive. There is a space between the tables further than my shoulder width apart. You can walk all the way around comfortably unless you weigh 350 lbs and have an ass the size of Texas. Then you might have to squeeze your way through.

I also made sure there was enough space for when you are bent over the board moving figures or rolling dice.

No fees to play except for normal tournament entry fees or league entry fees set by each companies individual organized play system. You can just show up and play for free (unless there is an event scheduled for that day).

Once its ready come check it out and judge for yourself.

Excellent! I've been waiting with great expectations for this, and you don't disappoint; the tables look great! I've been to Outland many times and there is a lot more room where the tables are situated than the pictures would suggest. Thanks Gabe. Give my regards to Mark for accomodating this for us.

Sounds like Outland could be a major location for this group, so we should sticky post their info, schedule, and such in the Find a Game area like we do for the other stores.

Think better question is will they be fine with people playing games there that they don't actually support? Doubt the shop is gonna suddenly become a GW stockist so will they be fine with people just using the space for those games?

YES you can play games there they dont carry This is not Sunshine. I dont know how I can put it any clearer.

Mark specifically bought 3 or 4 4' x 6' boards for WHFB, 40k, or WotR.

Gabe, the tables are looking great! My son and I are looking forward to playing some games and tourneys. I'll drop by this weekend to check the place out and hopefully to see if we can also play AT-43.

Blue Dane, when are you going to Outland this weekend? Saturday or Sunday?

Saturday that place is crawling with CCG kids playing pokemon and such they pack out the house. Not sure how much room we can get. I can be there sunday... FOW tourney at Sunshine anyway.

anyhoo, well, the issue is that if i don't have a job i can't have a hobby (of my many) and hobbies cost money unfortunately (otherwise it would just be an interest)

I'm sure you could scrounge up enough money for WM. Keeping your wife, kids, and home might be a problem though, now that I think about it.

What is the address of the place. How long of a drive would you say from hollywood blvd turnpike to store?

Outland is on SW 120th Ave and 127th St, about 3 minutes from the Turnpike. I'd say that with normal traffic you're about 45 minutes away, maybe just a tad less.

Gabe, what's the latest on the tables? When are we starting our weekly playgroup? I'm jonesing over here, man! Help a brother out!

They still arent set up for you guys? Its been a couple of months.
