Come out and join us.
We are currently testing the MK II Hordes rules. Open play all day until 11pm. I usually get there around 6pm.

Gabe,
How do you think the MK 2 hordes rules have affected the different armies ? any consensus on who seems to have benefited the most ?

Im still analyzing. RIght now Im working on Circle. The abusive stuff they had got toned down and the stuff that sucked got a boost. A few models need to be slightly adjusted. Overall at this point, it looks really good.

Everything looks solid and in just one week of playtesting Privateer has already responded to feedback by making some changes to the core rules and to certain models that the community felt needed attention. Now let's see any other company do that! I don't believe anyone can even pretend to care as much about their player base. This is just one of the many little (and great!) things that make WM/H the great game that it is.

Ton of game companies and other games do lot of playtesting with actual players (I play test for DP9 still currently and have volunteered for other companies in the past) and openly accept volunteers, they just never do this big open public testing because most companies want to keep things civil and easier to manage playtests instead of dealing with people with hidden agendas and board whining.
