Dakai's Paint Blog: Nate's bad moon horde

well the other day i was tring to paint up my lizardmen and nothing was coming to be than i looked over at my orks in there cigar boxs. I thought to myself you know i really want to get them in a better case when they are painted. So i said fuck it, grapped 12 shootaz, and skull white spray. As of today i have 85% prescent of those 12 shotta boyz finished. I started monday before work. The goal is to have them finished by this up coming monday. Start the other 8 boyz on monday along with my truk boyz (includes Trukk).

I am going to try and paint a unit or atlest a large part of a unit a week. ( i have about 4000 points in orks, this includes fighta bomba 1 and 2, Flakkwagon, and plus a Plussa Rokkit). Now due to the fact that i have a Blood Axe Force as well i am going to spread the painting up between the two forces. With this plan in placed i should have 1850 painted by the next 40k event.

i got held up the last two weeks...but i was able to finished building both trukks that have been both comstomized in their own way. Also i was able to get the blood axe warboss built. Followed up by a some of the missing trukk boyz... i will post later on

well ok i said i was going to post something well here is the warlord Kaptain Mizka Goldfang. I painted this a while ago but had some touch ups to do...i did them so here you go

keep up the work! also i think maybe a wash would bring out way more detail in the ork and would make him look better.

Have you tried a wash? with white spray paint that seems to be the way to go
