does anyone still play BFG or epic armageddon

yeah so as you can guess from the title does anyone still play BFG or epic armageddon and secondly would anyone be intrested in playing either.

I have ork, nurgle based lost and dammed, dark eldar, slannesh marine, black legion, dwarf and a small amount of tyranids for epic, all in various stages of being worked on, plus a fair amount of buildings.

Time to play it is a little shrt right now , but I'd like to see if there's some other players around as well.

yeah, I downloaded the rulebooks- but what do most people play in terms of fleet point total?

small games are 1000, then average is 1500-2000 from what I know. I got heavily into it, then there were no venues, then the Dragon started up and got into it again, then that fell apart so I gave up on it.

2D6 : Extra Roll Damage : Result

2 : +0 : Spore cysts injured. The ship’s spore cysts are badly
damaged by the hit. The ship’s spore cysts may not be
used until they have been repaired.
3 : +0 : Starboard armament wounded. The starboard
armament is severely injured by the hit. The ship’s
starboard armament may not be used again until it
has been repaired
4 : +0 : Port armament wounded. Heavy damage
wounds the port side weaponry. The ship’s port
armament may not be used until it has been repaired.
5 : +0 : Prow armament wounded. The bio-ship’s prow is
ripped open. Its prow armament may not used until
it has been repaired.
6 : +1 : Thorax armament wounded. A large tear in the
vessel’s thorax prevents its weapons discharging. The
ship may not use its thorax weapons until the damage
is repaired.
7 : +0 : Heavy wound! Internal organs are ruptured and
massive bleeding weakens the vessel. Roll to repair
the heavy wound in the End phase, if the wound is
not repaired it causes 1 point of extra damage and
keeps bleeding.
8 : +1 : Discharge vents wounded. One of the huge
biological valves that manoeuvre the ship through the
ether are crippled. The bio-ship may not turn until

9 : +0 : Synapse severed. The nerve bundles which connect
the ship to the Hive Mind are badly damaged. The
bio-ship cannot have its instinctual orders overridden
by the Hive Mind until the damage is repaired.

larvae failure and seal up. The bio-ship may no longer

ship suffers immense damage, spraying alien ichor far

every target within 3D6cm, with a Strength equal to
half the exploding vessel’s starting damage. Shields
and holofields are not effective against the detonation.

TYRANID CRITICAL HITS & CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE
Tyranids do not use the normal critical hit and catastrophic damage tables.
Instead they use the tables presented here. If a critical hit is rolled which
cannot be applied, for example a ship with no prow weapons gets a Prow
Armament wounded critical, apply the next highest critical instead. In this
case the ship would suffer thorax armament damage.

To start out this is what I'm looking at getting within the next few weeks for 1000pts:

400 Eclipse Cruiser w/ Pirate Prince & 2 rerolls
120 Hemlock (3)
120 Hemlock (3)
120 Hemlock (3)
120 Nightshade (3)
120 Nightshade (3)

running at 96$

Now, I can switch out a unit of nightshades/Hemlocks and the cruiser for a big ol' Void Stalker (~500pts) but idk. Price wise its only a dollar difference. I really don't' know what's effective lol. I just know that the aconite/hellebore aren't...

with bfg iv noticed where unit is effective its just how you use the ant wat you paer them with. but that might just be the nids

I'm learning to love my iPhone. Anyway, I have a sizable space marine, imperial, and adeptus mechanicus fleet that I can use for several gamers. Going to play this Sunday I think after I get off from work. I go in for an hour around1400hours. Not sure what jowls schedual is for that day but was just going to play a friend at southcom. If there is space we can come to joels. For a quick game 600 points is good. As you get faster 1000 and up is nice but one game can take all day the mote points you play.

I also have space marine, irks, very few eldar, and some imperial titans for epic. Never played but would like to try.

sorry to all of you that posted i had problems with my internet connection and i wasnt able to come back on till now but i have downloaded the rules for bfg and epic and i havent really been able to get into the reading but since christmas was good for me money wise i am gonna order up some stuff for both epic and bfg probably just 1000 for bfg and epic gonna go for space marines in both
