Next FOW Tournament, Oct. 18th Sunday

I just heard this from Joel today when I swung by.

Don is going to run it. I'm not sure what the details are exactly. Joel tells me that Don will be at the store this coming Sunday so I will get the details from him then.


Lets get a good turnout for this one!

If it is late war, I'll see if I can swing it. Mid war I won't be able to do.

What army are you playing?

I'll be 50th Tyne Tees, late War Brit Rifles, if I can make it.

They'll even be painted....

I want to know how this tournament is going to run before i commit to playing. Don's a great guy but he can't even put a correct list together. So, I have my reservation about a tournament run by him.

I like Don as well,but he really cant put a list together correctly. He also forgets rules.

Oh, hell, everyone forgets rules... I've just found one that Matthew and I played wrong everytime we played....

Well, I think we need to at least have a good turnout! I just want to get a good amount of games in.

Here's an update:

I spoke to Don. The Tournament is going to be Late War at 1500 points. There will be 3 rounds, and he will be giving me the missions sometime this week.

Still Set for Oct. 18th. Can a mod go ahead and sticky this topic and I will create a sign up list right here? Thanks!

Do we know the scenarios yet? Did anyone talk to Don last Sunday?

I'm going to be calling both Don and Joel today to find out what the status is. I didn't get over to the store this past Sunday due to work-related items.

Please let us know what is going on. If there is no additional info by Saturday morning at the latest, I'll make different arrangements and do something else.

This is why these guys need to join the forum. Nobody knows what's going on and its hard to talk to these guys.

I'm going to see what is listed on Saturday morning, and then see what happens. I may go down anyway, and just see if any one turns up and just play.
