What army did you ever decide on Bill?

I'm going with a Gondor list based around the Grey Company.

So who's coming to this thing?? A whole lot of you guys seem to have gotten into it but not alot of folks are committing!

Count me in. Definitely going with a Gondor list.

Luis, I would love to accommodate everyone, but that obviously would not be practical. I had asked for input from the WotR group and based on that I decided on the date of 31 May. Some players are spending Memorial weekend with their families. I would like to have ALL future tournaments on the same date, so no one would have to guess and could make plans accordingly.

And most importantly, to change the date now would not be fair to those who already made plans.

What are the limitations on the proxies?

Movement Bases are the most important. So please make sure the dimensions are correct (it's in the book page 24 and 230/231) and homemade is okay.

The models should look as close as possible to character. An example; Tom is using a Fantasy Ogre for a Troll.

This is temporary and not permanent. The game just came out and it is unreasonable to expect everyone to have a full army.

On the other hand no one should have to still be guessing what your proxies are after testing for months.

A 600 point army is close to 3 to 4 boxes. So At least 2 or more of your army should be real. Throw a command unit or two (captain and banner) and you will see how fast 600 points add up.

Prize support, I will try and get an answer by the end of the day. Apparently GW is screwing their customers again and cutting back. Joel has to get in contact and find out what the actual amount is.

What does everyone thing if the Tournament is moved up one week to a Saturday?

Personally I don't know if I'll have anything near to my stuff by then, so I can't guarantee that I'd be able to play.

That would pretty much knock me out unless we were done by 5pm. I have work the Miami Beach Hiphop thing, I have to be on the beach at 6 pm.

If I can get the number of people who can make on the 23 May and those who can only make on 31 and who would be knock out on either date, in otherwords who we lose if we had on the 23 and who we would lose if we had on 31.

Just trying to accommodate everyone.

And if you have not read the update, the prize support is going to be a wopping $150.00, AT LEAST, more based on the turn out.

Sorry to those who can only make it on Saturdays only, but it looks pretty much like 31 of May is the best date based on the response from all of the players.
